Jesus Christ gave the Great Commission in Matthew 28: 19 and 20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Macedonia heeds the Master’s call with the following ministries:

GROUP RECOVERY: WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!
A ministry whose purpose is to assist individuals with varying concerns or problems, embracing the whole person – spirit, mind and body (I Thessalonians 5:23). Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety (Proverbs 11:14 KJV). This ministry is coordinated by Sister Crimson Brandon.
This ministry involves Macedonia in community projects that help us reach far beyond the walls of Macedonia. Our team leader is Deaconess Bessie Wilson.
This ministry strives to glorify God by providing excellence in food service. We aspire for the love of Jesus Christ to be exemplified in our performance as food service handlers. We are committed to practice the high quality standards required for health and safety, relative to the preparation and serving of food and beverages. Sister Vivian Green is our team leader.
Leaders and members pray to God for the need of others. Deacon Curtis Carlton is our team leader.
Workshops and getaways are planned to enrich and enlighten marriages. The coordinators are Brother and Sister Tommy and Davetta Guinn.
Our mission is to enhance the presentation of God’s Word through various modes of media technology to our Church family, the community, and the world. Deacon Bertrand Wilder is the coordinator.
Our ministers are licensed to preach the gospel and are cultivating their ministries to faithfully and obediently fulfill the future roll of pastor at a church in God’s appointed time. While in fellowship at Macedonia, they preach services in-house as led by Pastor Henry and serve as advisors to several ministries of the Church.
The Missions Department was formed by Christians who, through their faith in God, wanted to help others. All Missionary Baptists are missionaries. Another extension of our missionary calling is an active Outreach Ministry to nursing homes, prisons, hospitals and those in need. Reverend Maxine Outlaw is our Missionary’s president.
The Academy provides targeted reading interventions that enables students to become independent readers and lifelong learners. Dr. Patricia Holliday is our team leader.
